    Sensory Activities

    In Bluebird Class we love sensory play, it keeps us busy. Below are some ideas of sensory activities you could try at home using items around the house. Don't forget if you have any questions about this or anything else however big or small to send an email to our class email and I will get back to you.

    Phonics

    Please see the link below for our phonics song that we really enjoy listening and singing along to;

    While you are at home it is a good time to practise using our listening ears. What sounds can you hear in your house? If you have a garden what can you hear there? Can you make instruments out of things at home e.g using a saucepan for a drum or using a box, a shaker using rice in a bottle and elastic bands to make a guitar? Can you use your ‘instruments’ to make loud sounds? Can you make quiet sounds? If you need a real challenge see if you can copy a rhythm that your grown up makes.

    Hi Bluebird Class

    I hope you are all safe and well. I know you will be missing our lessons just as much as I am. I am really missing our dough discos, so grab you play dough and have a go at the dough discos being posted on YouTube (link below). Remember to squeeze and roll your dough!
