Autumn 2

Welcome back!

Out Topic this half-term is called Shine a Light and Celebrate! We will take part in a variety of activities based on colours, light and will learn about different festivals and celebrations. 

In English we will be exploring a book called "Goldilocks and the three Bears". So far this week we have made Bear masks for our display and taking pictures wearing Goldilocks and Bear masks.

Hello and welcome to Red Class! 

There are 6 children and 4 adults in our class: myself (Katie), Deirdre ( Leading support Assistant), Marcela and Rushna ( learning support assistants). 

This half -term our Topic is  “All about me”. We will be looking at naming different body parts, discussing our likes and dislikes, learning about senses and personal hygiene. 

During circle times we are getting to know our new friends and looking at the pictures of the people who help us in class. 

This half-term we will be reading two books: “Elmer” and “Silly Suzy Goose”. 

We have started to explore props related to our first story “Elmer” and took part in a collaborative work in order to decorate Elmer for our display board.
